I agree this is rediculous. The Cook County Detention Center is one of the largest in the country- certainly is a warehouse. Why are 11 year olds locked up with 20 year olds under these horrid conditions- they’re not even sentenced to anything yet. This center should be about rehabilitation and mental care, not getting kids used to the prison system. These are our children.
